Want Some Answers ???
King James Error Index HomeHi there
Thanks for your email nice of you to reply. You wrote,
>>Dear False Doctor Mark. My momma use to tell me when you point one finger at somebody, three more point back at you. Let me suggest that you are the radical and add another word to your vocabulary. You're a heretic. Us KJV folks are the remnant.<<
It sounds like my letters have struck a nerve. Sad your 'momma' didn't warn you about the KJ gang. Why am I 'a heretic'? I've been reading the "Bible Believers Bulletin" and other publications from King Jamers. And worldwide one thing is always the same. Their pens are red-hot 'attacking people'. I can only describe this as "hate literature".
Users of other versions or those who question
or challenge the KJ doctrine are called - "lairs, fools, dung, stupid-jerks,
dogs, blasphemers, bigots, brain-washed, up-starts, hypocrites, deceitful" etc.
Some comments are slanderous, others libel. You people target individuals -
print their names and address then target them with hate mail and abusive
phone-calls. This antagonism is one of the most damaging aspects to your whole
theology.
You have not explained why I'm “a heretic”. You will need to do better than that. I took the name 'radical' from one who named to be a radical - Tom Lamb - Website: http://home.clear.net.nz/pages/tlamb So I’m not calling names for names sake. You name the KJ group as the only true ‘remnant’? I have never heard of this group could you explain?
I have found many cultic characteristics mentioned by Dr Hoekama (Th.D) in his book on cults are found with the KJ group. Eg -
[1] An extra-source of authority. - KJ radicals have a translation which dictates how they understand God's word. The KJV is regarded as the ultimate authority, always right, never wrong (are spelling mistakes inerrant?). They manipulate Scripture claiming special insight when reading Scripture. And their writings/writers have great authority and insight then others. [2] The Group thinks it is the exclusive community of God’s chosen [Everyone who uses another version is regarded as wrong, they alone hold and protect the truth] They have some extra revelation not naturally found in Scripture. [3] The Gospel is flavoured with the doctrines of the sect. [4] They are hostile to mainstream Christianity. [5] They are Eschatological. Special dates or events after the Apostles. [The word of God declared in 1611 KJV.]. They think they are called into existence by God and filling a gap in the truth, neglected by ordinary churches. All these are true of the KJ sect that acts and behaves like a cult.
You quote a number of verses -
>>(2 Th 3:6 KJV) Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus
Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly,
and not after the tradition which he received of us.<<
So “every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us”. Does that mean all Christians who ask questions, study and discuss doctrine ‘walketh disorderly? And your ‘tradition’ is what you ‘received’ of Paul. Does it insist the KJV is the only correct version that he and the Apostles preached and used? And all other versions are Satanic and their users ‘heretics? If ‘yes’ then it is you who have ‘another gospel’. You quote,
>>(Titus 3:9 KJV) But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.<<
Are you suggesting to have different views on the KJ than you is foolish unprofitable and vain? And if any question the soundness of the KJ radicals ‘avoid’ them? Surely, if something is true it can stand to be questioned, if it is not true it needs to be questioned. You quote,
>>(Titus 3:10 KJV) A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition reject; (Titus 3:11 KJV) Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.<<
Is this your definition of a ‘sinner’ and someone ‘subverted? A user of another version? You mean I can’t grow in faith without the KJV and instead will be ‘condemned? If I use other versions I have forsaken God’s word and will be punished by God? Are Christian’s characterised by the language and translation they use? Or are they characterised by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Gal.3:1), their love of Christ (Jn.14:15) and their “..love one to another…” (Jn.13:35)? Christian’s can use any version all their life without turning into KJ radicals.
God is using the clarity of modern versions to feed, speak and guide His people. These Christian’s are not Bible-hating, Bible-rejecting apostates. But testify to receiving God's guidance, encouragement and peace. He speaks and glorifies His name through modern translations. It’s more likely an incomprehensible translation would produce immature weak Christians. Any suggestion not to read our Bible is more likely to be Satanic then from God.
