An email to unbelief.org

Hi unbeliever,

What a disappointment ‘unbelief.org’ was. Apparently the word ‘unbelief’ means anything. I was half-expecting to find some reasons why there is ‘no God’. But it's a -

website devoted to analysing and exposing the agenda of the Religious Right in Australia. The aim of this website is to counteract the negative influence of the Religious Right on Australian social policy.”

So what’s wrong with “the agenda”? The aims of the ‘religious right’ should be those of the ‘good book’ (ie peace, justice, truth, honesty, freedom, fairness, the value of life). What’s wrong with that? How can “society (be more) compassionate and fair” if “civil authority is totally independent” of those values? Because the loony left with no values have made a mess of our country http://answers.net.nz/Homo/enough.htm

Does unbelief.org promote “the agenda” of unbelievers (nothing is totally true, freedom to believe and do as we want, no meaning or value to life) ?

The website says, ”We encourage visitors to share your views, whether you agree with us or not.” Well, I believe there is a God and “unbelief.org” didn’t convince otherwise. Why?

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse” (Rom.2:20)

And plenty of expert scientists say “creation” (for scientific reasons) is the best explanation.

Unbelief.org says “visitors” can’t “share” their “views” but they must “agree” to “register” and “accept” all requirements or they are rejected. What about the ‘Godless’ who believe nothing is ultimately right or wrong? Unbeilief.con says, “you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing…invasive of a person's privacy…etc”. That denies and restricts the freedom of unbelievers to comment.

No I got it wrong… it’s only material attacking the “Religious Right” that is acceptable on unbelief.con.

Disagree with any of the above? Write and say why.

Regards, Mark
